Trio of Demons

Feeling overwhelmed, the habit of procrastination, and difficulty with motivation — that trio of demons that feed each other, creating a vicious (truly vicious!) cycle — they are the bane of my existence.

I would banish them from the world if I could. But if I did, I wouldn’t have a job. (Actually, that’s not true. If I’d actually been the one to figure out how to banish them, my new job title would be something like “Productivity Hero of All Time”– move over David Allen! And I would be working on solving the rest of the world’s problems. But back to reality now.)

I wouldn’t have the job I have now, helping my therapy clients climb out of the pit of self-sabotage this cycle gets them mired in.

I try to take the fact that I am also a work in progress and turn it into an asset rather than a liability.
